Rosario Dawson stars as the uncompromising detective Allegra Dill in this pulpy drama, adapted from Ross Thomas’s novel of the same name. Returning to her home town after her sister is murdered, Dill is faced with a surreal scenario: half of the animals from the local zoo have escaped and corruption seems to have seeped everywhere.
